Exergen
Model E and Super
E, the first infrared instruments specifically
designed for electrical inspection. These unique, simple
to operate, hand-held instruments, enables live electrical
inspection, of virtually all Fixed Wiring equipment, (incl.
switchgear).
No Switch-off = No Down Time.
With
automatic reference to ambient temperature and color coded
LED's to denote existence and severity of potential faults,
accurate inspections can be completed in seconds. The
Super E features include Peak Reading Hold, Audible Beeper,
and Changeable Resolution 1°C or 0.1°C. It is
ideal for both short or longer range scanning, such as
overhead busbars The interchangeable 200:1 lens enables
scanning up 50' (15m) with a spot size of 3" (1" spot
size @ 20'), and the New optional laser sight ensures
pin point accuracy on the target. Using the 50:1 lens
enables short range scanning with spot size as low as
6mm (1/4").
Already
in use throughout the UK (and world) in Manufacturing,
Financial Services, Retailing, Transport, Contracting,
Bldg Services, Education, Health, Govt. Depts etc. It
has received a favorable response from the major UK
policy making organizations including, NICEIC, ECA,
ECAS, and Electricity Assoc. Indeed, David Latimer (well
known for his work in the preparation of the IEE Wiring
Regs), felt it to be; "One of the most worthwhile inspection
instruments I have ever seen".
